About Us

The Moose is a fraternal and service organization founded in 1888 with roughly 1,300 Lodges in 49 states and four Canadian provinces, plus Great Britain. The Moose Fraternity supports children and teens in need through the operation of Mooseheart, and a beautiful retirement community for its members through the operation of Moosehaven. Lodges across the Fraternity are known for creating life-long bonds between members through activities, and a shared concern for children in need, seniors, and the communities in which they live.

Folsom Moose Lodge 2009 is a local chapter of the national Loyal Order of Moose, established in 1966, situated on the edge of the historic district of Folsom, CA. The Lodge serves as a community hub emphasizing fellowship, family fun, and charitable giving through community service and social activities. Folsom Moose Lodge also serves as a local gathering spot for its members with amenities such as a patio overlooking the American River, a kitchen, game area, and social lounge. The Lodge offers social events, themed dinners, live entertainment, and sports, aiming to build bonds all while serving our community.

Folsom Moose Lodge 2009 embodies the national Moose mission on a local level, providing a space for community, charity, and camaraderie.
