
The Women of the Moose (WOTM) aims to bring women together in fellowship and service, supporting Moose International's charitable endeavors, especially for children and seniors at Mooseheart and Moosehaven.
History
The organization started as the Women's Loyal Moose Circle in 1913 and later became a subgroup of the Mooseheart Legion.
Membership
Any woman in good standing with the Loyal Order of Moose is eligible to join the Women of the Moose.
Activities
WOTM organizes various activities, including fundraising for Mooseheart and Moosehaven, organizing community service projects, and hosting social events.
Organization
Women of the Moose chapters are established within individual Moose Lodges. They have an international board and a grand council.
One Moose Concept
In recent years, Moose International has been moving towards a "One Moose" concept, where men and women have equal membership rights and participation in Lodge activities.
